February saw the beginning of a new speaker series, “Pirke Avoteinu” – ‘Chapters of our Fathers/Ancestors.’ featuring our community’s elders on selected Friday nights. These shorter services allow time for our Avot, our sages, to speak to us and share with us.
The first night of Pirke Avoteinu was Friday night, February 10th, when Emeric Fischer spoke. Emeric has led a long and fascinating life, and had much to share with us.
